Dr. Englander grew up in several cities across the United States prior to moving with his family to the Baltimore area in 2008. Following graduation from high school, he studied abroad for two years followed by completing his undergraduate pre-dental studies at Towson University.
He continued his education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry as part of the Class of 2022. He was recognized with the Dean’s Research Award for his research in Idiopathic Pain Disorders under Dr. Ricard Traub in the UMSOD Department of Neuroscience. He was also recognized for his dedication to overall patient health with the Oral Medicine Award from the American Academy of Oral Medicine. He continued that dedication to patient care by completing a Fellowship in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry as well as a General Practice Residency at the Perry Point Veterans Administration Medical Health Center. Through his training and experience, Dr. Englander gained proficiency in General and Esthetic Dentistry in addition to extensive additional training in Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery, Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, Implant Dentistry, Periodontics and Endodontics. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Maryland State Dental Association, American Dental Association, Maimonides Dental Study Club, Alpha Omega Dental Society, and is an Invisalign certified provider.
While not practicing Dentistry, Dr. Englander loves spending time with his wife Ahuva, their four wonderful children and their whole extended family. He also enjoys playing sports, following the NFL and the Baltimore Orioles, and most of all, cooking.
